ABOUT

Hazel Green Airport (M38) is privately owned and maintained by stockholders of Hazel Green Flyers, Inc. It is located a few miles west of Hazel Green, Alabama, just north of Huntsville, and a few miles south of the Tennessee border. The runway was originally paved as a drag strip. It was first licensed as Chess-King Airpark on April 21, 1966.

OUR BOARD MEMBERS

We have stockholders meeting once per year, and the Board of Directors meets more often. We typically meet at our clubhouse on the northeast end of the airfield.

Are there any hangars available

There are several airport owned sites currently available for interested parties to lease to build a hangar on. Please contact us for more information if you are interested.

Are there Any lots/Hangar homes available

Hazel Green Flyers does not manage any of the adjacent property to the airport, though we do establish access agreements with adjacent properties to enable hangar homes and off airport hangars to have access to the airport.

There is a home adjacent to airport property that will be coming available soon. Please contact us for more information or to be put on the contact list for when the property is officially listed.
